Yes Mother Podcast, Bates Motel: S3E10 “Unconcious” Pt I (Episode Recap)

0150c370e9e581a0279b91a95f719bcc30eefc9690This is Part One of our podcast for the finale episode of Bates, S3. In part one I am including the episode recap only (which was the middle part of our recording- so if it lacks a proper beginning and a proper end, well that’s why). I chose to cut it this way, and leave feedback and the contest for Part II. You can relax- I’m not making you wait a week either- it will be out by Saturday, I just couldn’t release such a mega episode all in one go.

As for the show episode: well… lives were taken, kisses were had, kisses were not had. White PIne Bay did it’s job, and did it’s job well.

ps No, I can’t tell you why Sue’s typing errors were so funny. I just know that they were.

Sue Watches Buffy #35 S5: Eps Weight of the World and The Gift

ea_b_thegiftIn this podcast, Em and Sue wrap up our first of three season enders with the last two episodes of Buffy season 5. We are off to a great start, as this was a great conclusion to what was a very enjoyable season of Buffy.

Em and Sue chat about Sue’s thoughts on how they wrapped it up and Sue reveals whether or not the ending surprised her. Then she throws out many suggestions on where they might go from here, and it’s all a great big fun. Join us!

Well, here we are. It’s almost the end and it feels like this season just began, but what a short, strange trip it’s been. In this episode of the pocast, Em and Sue give a shout out to the moms out there especially Norma (who didn’t have a great week) and our own mom (RIP, Jane). Then we read your feedback and recap the episode. We also treat you to (we hope it’s a treat anyways) an in depth analysis break down of one of the scenes…which one? I’ll give you a hint: Normero is in it.

Sit back and grab a sandwich, this might take awhile…

Sue Watches Buffy #34 “Spiral” and WWBW

spike-driving-the-rvOk, this episode possibly has the most succinct What We’ve Been Watching and we were no slouches when it came to discussing Spiral either. Perhaps we are a bit focused on Bates Motel’s final episodes, or perhaps we were busy. But I think I might blame Emily’s hungry stomach…

Whatever. Listen as Em works her magic on convincing Sue that this was a good episode.

Yes Mother, Bates Motel: S3E8 “The Pit”

01015c38a0e00fa17dc20b0ec0e4dde91e9f35f57bThis is the “Norma’s Mercedes Resurrection Podcast”! Unfortunately, it’s also the “Every Relationship on the show except for Dylemma’s Memorial Podcast”.  BOOOO!

ATTN: Normero Shippers
Get your dunglees on and come slip between the sheets of Mama Bear’s giant bed, because she has some theories and calming words to share with you. Don’t despair– this won’t be the last Resurrection Podcast we put out. Mark my words, and get tucked in as many times as you need, Mama Bear’s here and everything will be alright.

Shhhh…

We also you know, read feedback and recap the whole episode and stuff.

Just for now…

Sue Watches Angel #32 “Belonging” and What We’ve Been Watching

0161a0b64b19879bc66382be6eeae804faf2647de8This week, Em and Sue discuss a few things we’ve been watching, and then move on to the Angel Episode Belonging. This ep marks the first episode of the end of season arc (read: a set up episode). But that doesn’t mean there isn’t some fun to be had, especially if you’ve wondered a little about The Host’s back story. Including his name. LORNE! HIS NAME’S LORNE! Thanks- I’ve been wanting to let that out for a while now…

Yes Mother Podcast: Bates Motel S3E7 “The Last Supper”

Bates-Motel-The-Last-Supper-Season-3-Episode-7-02This week brought us another fantastic episode, after a run of fantastic episodes this season!  This week delivered it all: awesomely quotable Norma lines, Dylemma fans swooned as Dylan and Emma had stars in their eyes (where’s Norman?……Who??). Speaking of that attractive and masculine twit: Norman had some of his creepiest, most fantastic moments to date, and he absolutely does not want to sleep with his mother.  Nope- he’s never even thought of such a thing #mamabooty.  There was also a little something for the Normero shippers (Rates) oh boy- if you weren’t on that ship before, you are now.  By the way- HOW COME NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT THE ADORABLENESS THAT IS DRUNK ROMERO??  I could have met him before season 3.  So much wasted time.  We are so glad that the series will now just consist of nice, family dinners where everyone gets along and there is nothing but laughter and conversation…0_o #shhhhhh

Oh wait… was this episode called The LAST supper?

Shoot.

I also wonder…why is the whole world not watching this show?

Sue Watches Angel #32: “Dead End” (and WWBW)

angel_2x18We start out this episode with What We’ve Been Watching, mostly finishing up discussions we had last time- getting into The Jinx and Horns a little more, now that we’ve both seen them (we each watched and discussed one or two other things). Then we discuss the Lindsay-sentric Angel episode “Dead End” Hold on… Lindsay- centric??!!

…crickets…

Well, the important thing is, it’s done. And it really wasn’t that bad.

Sue Watches Buffy #31 Tough Love

519_ToughLoveIn this episode, Em and Sue discuss the things we’ve been watching other then Bates. Among a few other things: Em watched most of The Fall and Horns, and Sue watched The Jinx. Then we move on to Buffy. Tough Love proved to include Sue in that, and that’s all I’ll say on the subject.
